Fish pedicure!
Today, I had a fish pedicure!
It tickled putting my feet in, but I got mostly used to it.
The fish nibble up a line along your skin until something disturbs them.

Convention time! This means lots of excitement! Plus parties! Yay!
I will eventually update other summer stuff for you. Just not right now.
Great bagels! I will get smoked meat and poutine sometime soon. -
Nothing like pants hot out of the dryer...

Another huge day!
Yes, so I walked all the way from Capitol Hill down to the Palace Ballroom since the shuttle would not arrive for 20 minutes. It was about the same time it took to walk it. Single for a week!
Well, almost a week. The husband is at WWDC in San Francisco, hopefully eating LOTS of seafood.
Essay due Tuesday, so I'm not really free until then. Okay, back to work. -
Settling in

Seeing an article on the pay "freeze" or "voluntary payback" for the councillors of Toronto made me think of my Roman Empire course. In those days, the local elite would not get paid for doing their magisterial duties, but some would do it anyways for the prestige. I miss Honest Tea.
Yeah, it was one of my favourite beverages to buy when I lived in Seattle. Not too much sugar, tasty and very refreshing. I liked it before Obama did! My favourites were the Peach Oolong and the different "Ades" they had ( Read more... )
