Last night was fun. I hung out with an old friend of mine who is into making films and just relaxed and gentlemanly. I wore my new feather hair clip and a cute outfit and chatted outside in the cool breeze with friends...it was a delight

...is that where you heard it from?
The reason I ask is because she too was considered a woman of the desert like you describe

the name has a very long and ancient history. Fatima is also a very important and sometimes considered feminist character from Islam. try looking into on Wiki or something, im sure they will have the history put together in a more cohesive way. But its a wonderful name with a lot of meaning.
