Memories

Home in MN for a long weekend visiting family. It's a bittersweet visit. It's fun to see everyone and hang out, but everything is changing.

*Hugs* Someday, when we have to do this with my grandma's house, it will be one of the hardest days of my life.

It's sad that continuity is only a luxury of the wealthy.

I say it's a badger, did you read "wind in the willows" around that time, I think there's a badger in it.

At least your parents have told you they're moving. Mine came to pick me up one year at the end of college, and instead of driving to our house, we went to some new house which they moved into that week without telling me!

I never realized how much emotional weight a space can have until my parents sold the house we grew up in. To be honest, no place else has ever really felt like home in the same way.

I do think it's great that everyone was able to be together to sift through these memories.

And add another badger vote to the roll.
