so i was listening to NPR a little while ago and they were talking about twitter, which i guess is like a microbloging site that's sole purpose is for you to put in what you are doing AT THAT SECOND for everyone to see. like the facebook status update, minus the rest of the page ( Read more... )

i don't think there's anything wrong with blogging either.....obviously as i posted it in livejournal ;). i use mine for the same reason you do, to remember stuff, and to keep the few people that read this updated on anything that may be semi-major.

this twitter things gives you like a hundred characters or something to post....nothing of substance can be written in 100 characters or less (i'm sure that statement will come back to bite me in the ass...). like seriously though....is it necessary to let the entire world know how you are feeling and what you are thinking and what you are doing every minute of the day? argh! get over yourself people!

hAHA, I have a twitter! I actually like twitter more then facebook because of its simplicity. I guess I don't really have a life, your right. I like it because it is easier then sending out a mass text message 'I am bored'. The interwebs are a funny place ;)
