Well, my sweet little baby is responsible for ending my 20 year illness related non-vomiting streak. On Saturday morning, I woke up, picked up Claudia, and she threw up all over me. I cleaned us up, sat down with her again, and this time it was worse. Poor thing. She didn't complain at all, just threw up, looked confused, then went on about her ( Read more... )

That's horrible!! I keep waiting for the day that we all get it. I'm thinking my little bout with nausea wasn't enough and I'm going to get something worse.

It's interesting though...I was just googling trying to see if something was on the peanut recall list and one site listed the symptoms of the samonella poisoning. It sounds exactly like what you had - vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, abdominal pains. So it really made me wonder - how do you know if you have the "flu" or if you ate a bad peanut.

blah - I hope everyone is feeling better soon. And I really hope Ilona doesn't get it. That would really bite after what she went through last year at this time. :P

Yeah, no. We didn't have fevers...just had violent shaking and chills...I took my temp during that one nasty bout and it was perfectly normal. Also, we don't eat any of the commercially produced peanut filled products on the recall list. The only peanutty thing we eat is, well, peanut butter and our current jar has been open for almost 3 weeks now. Also, Ilona eats more of that than any of the rest of us combined. Plus, we have stomach flu circulatin' round these parts. Bah. I went to work today and was exhausted and weak. Around 7:30 or 8, tonight, I finally started to feel like a human again!
