I put my peas in, but I'm not sure they'll live. I started them inside so they had a chance to sprout...last year the birds or squirrels or something ate them before any of them sprouted. My tomatoes have verticullium wilt. I've even gone and cut a stalk to diagnose it. It will stunt their growth, but they may still produce fruit, albeit smaller than if they were 100% healthy. It's a fungus in the soil. I won't be growing tomatoes in that part of the yard again next year. I will also look for species that have been bred ( Read more... )

I'm going to have to update with some pictures tomorrow, but the garden is growing. We've had lettuce and onions for about two weeks now. I think I can easily plant more onions later since those are really easy to grow. My broccoli is actually showing crowns and florets now! I think I have either a too damp area or too much heat situation going ( Read more... )
