knitting again

So I kind of got suckered into knitting a couple of pairs of socks.

I've never knitted a pair of socks before so this is kind of cool.  I've knitted single socks, but no pairs.  Second-Sock- Syndrome...I've got it bad.

But not this time!!!  Mwahahahaha!

Blimey that's adventurous, knitting socks! I like them quite a lot actually ;-)

The last time I knitted socks was a pair of baby booties when I was about twelve. I remember it being horribly difficult, that's about it!

Yeesh! These things are driving me nuts! I'm at the boring part where I'm just waiting to run out of string.

But you've just inspired me! Maybe I'll just end the socks now and make a pair of tiny miniature socks out of the extra yarn. It would be so cute! :D

That's really cool that you knitted booties when you were twelve. I only learned to knit about 8 years ago. And yeah, socks are not an easy project at all. I'm very impressed!

I think the whole key to the being twelve and knitting booties was this: (It's rather buddhist actually LOL)

Nobody told me a twelve year old probably couldn't make them because it was too complicated, so I just went ahead and did it LOL

I haven't knitted for years actually. I never got good enough, can only do regular and pearl stitch ;-) But I do make complicated costumes instead because that's fun.
