Eeeee! Thank you! I didn't even realize I'd done all that, but that's very much how I think about him.

Hakkai is so interesting that way...he's got a lot going on under that perfect surface.
When I draw him, he's very particular about how I do it, which makes it easier in some ways and harder in others.

I find drawing characters or people I know and love much harder than drawing those that don't touch me quite as much.

I know exactly what you mean! I can't really draw Sanzo's face because I don't think I'll be able to include everything that I see there. Like I wouldn't be doing him justice.

The problem I have with drawing Gojyo or Goku is in that fine line between amused/happy and goofy. :P

I had the hardest time getting him naked for you. He wouldn't just do it for no reason. And he refused to act sexy and be naked at the same time. Such a picky guy. :)

He's very modest, our Hakkai. Gojyo drops trou at the merest suggestion, but Hakkai has a certain dignity. Good job at capturing that dignity. If caeseria ever does draw him in thigh boots and draw-string drawers there will probably be blood.

Actually, I could see him dressing like that if Gojyo brought it up. I think he'd like it, even...as long as Gojyo was willing to lick the boots. :)
