I've been on LJ sabbatical. Like completely gone. I'm not sure how long it's been at this point. And by sabbatical, I mean that even as my posts began to taper off a few years ago, I was still reading and following my Flist. sometime, probably during the summer, I tapered off of reading. Love you dude. Don't need social media or quick fixes for that, we are lifers. Doesn't matter if we talk everyday or the rare once or twice a year. I've done the life, so I will never get mad at you being out of contact, I know how it goes. Talk when we can, love always. xx

I started back at the beginning of the year because there is nothing else that satisfies this need for me. It was my friend's death late last year. I wanted to say something about it, but where?

I loved your posts because they weren't for the casual reader--you had to sign up and go along for the ride. They had substance that is lacking in most of the stuff I see on Facebook or wherever.

So consider yourself validated with a capital V. Write when you can.

Thanks. That's the demographic I'm trying to appeal to.

It's just too hard to hack out on an Iphone huddled in the tweendecks instead of on a typer in a hotel.

And I've been hoping that the reason you haven't been posting is that you've been happy/happy/happy, that that's taken up all of your time.

Thing is you're just such a fabulous writer. You have such a gift.
