we celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary last month. our friends lucy and kerry took us to a nice dinner and made us a foil crown...then we went to a Bees baseball game. i'll leave it at that and save you from the sentimental/mushy statements that would best reflect the milestone.

at the end of february anna was invited to appear on an NPR radio show that is produced and aired locally. the show was about local music and one of our favorite local bands. here are a couple images from the studio. oh, and click here to listen to the program...although it won't be online forever.

we treated ourselves to a weekend trip to portland, oregon. it was a crazy idea. we drove through the night to get there and spent only a couple of days. but it was a ton of fun.  we saw good friends, listened to great music, met some of our favorite musicians, ate crazy donuts, visited some record stores, and had an all around amazing time.

so after we visited our CUTEST NEPHEW IN THE WORLD and our SWEET NEICE WHO IS STILL TOO SMALL TO DO MUCH BUT WE LOVE HER ANYWAYS and the rest of the amazing brozek family (we love you guys!), we headed down south to Troy, Alabama where my little sister got married. can we all finally stop babying her now? thanks.
