The gulls
I live about 2 and an half miles from the water, so we see gulls, but rarely many, and I rarely hear them. But just now a bunch of them (dare I say a flock of sea gulls?) were screaching, crying for a full five minutes. It was like the pier at Coronado after sunrise. Loud and insistent and sad out there. -
