Oh man. That was...*fans self* the hottest cave sex scene I've ever read. Gorgeous, amazing...But it's not all about the sex, is it? I love Jim's observations: about how much McCoy needs affection, to express it. Jim being treated like he's wanted for who he is, not just for sex. That he himself doesn't revel in that affection. Lovely and insightful, and achy around the edges for a person who hasn't been on the receiving end of a lot of love.
