Wow. Of course I've been looking forward to this part and it did NOT disappoint. GUH. And not only that, but I love how affectionate McCoy is and how Jim doesn't quite know how to deal with his concern. I have to say that I'm going to be very sad when this ends! ♥

Don't be sad! sullacat and I have written more stuff (you can find it on this journal) and plan to write much more in the future about our OTP.

Definitely at this point in his life, Jim definitely doesn't have any idea how to really deal with someone being affectionate towards him. Just a little too... broken and held together by self-made glue, if that makes sense. Bones, on the other hand, is still dealing with the way his life had shattered and here's a very large dangerous intelligent stray cat for him to help in a way that lets him deal with his own pain in an indirect way.
