Well i threw alway practically all my poker research today. It just makes me sad to look at it. I am not sure if that is a good idea or not. I just don't want to look at anything that makes me sad anymore.

I guess I have mixed feelings about this -- because while I DO agree you shouldn't keep things around that make you sad, you also shouldn't throw away things that interest you. At one time that was something that interested you - it made you happy. Now that circumstances have changed the good feelings were replaced with negative ones, but that doesn't mean in time you'll move past those feelings.

I'm one to talk - I save everything.. I have chat logs of talking with my ex, words of him telling me he loved me... Then I got pregnant and he left..those chat logs make me very sad now, because it all feels like a lie. I don't throw them away though - because in time - it will feel good to remember the good moments, and will help make the sadness fade.

i personally love to burn stuff and move on freely- or i like to save meaningful pieces of things and transform them- like put pieces into a collage or something.

Mostly i just try not to keep something around that makes me feel bad, but if it makes me feel good, or hurts to much to throw it away, I might keep it in a box until i know what to do with it.

With relationships when i was getting over one in the past, it helped to clear my space of things that reminded me of him because it just hurt or made me angry.

But you are talking about poker here. Complicated subject for me!
