I am letting this journal lapse.

Never ever should my words be taken literally in such a manner. Farting on me is not OK under any circumstances, even if it seems like I instigated it.

We are now two days into the week in which my grandmother was supposed to be here. As she was going to be here for such a short time my parents crammed in as much stuff at night as they could, so that she could both try lots of different types of food AND see as many as my parents friends as possible ( Read more... )

It is confirmed that my grandmother isn't coming. Dad is very sad but he is working through the pain by baking pies. He has already made two apple pies, two bourbon pecan pies, and is working on two coconut custard ones. Apparently there is also a chocolate layer cake coming up ( Read more... )

Today is the 25th of July, therefore it is my 22nd birthday.

I was born in New York City at 8:58 am EST, and in this part of the world we are 12 hours ahead. Therefore it is not my birthday until 8:58 pm. If someone's birthday finishes at midnight, then I guess mine finishes at noon tomorrow.

Weird.

I am currently visiting my parental units in Singapore.  I thought it would be nice to have my birthday here, besides my job situation is currently in flux.  While the company is deciding whether they want to continue to have a presence in Asia, there isn't really anything for me to do, let alone anything that must be done in Hong Kong.
