Holy Crap

Had a look at the yard. Strewn with tornado debris---shingles, fragments of tar paper, shingles, several varieties of insulation, photographs, sheet music and styrofoam.

On closer inspection, seems the whole neighborhood is covered in it.

I must admit that tornadoes and hurricanes freak me out much more than earthquakes. Either familiarity breeds contempt or I saw The Wizard of Oz too many times as a child.

I grew up in Southern California - I now spot the severe weather for a Nebraska county, and I'll take the tornadoes over the earthquakes any day.
