I have three pets - two cats and a rabbit, who were all adopted and already had names starting with B. I am making an entry about them because these guys keep me going and I want to write about something positive today (my last post was pretty bleak).

~Finished Mitts~
A couple of days ago I finished making the first pair of mitts/gloves I've attempted to knit. They are fingerless and knit in the round with Lion Brand Nature's Choice Organic Cotton. I got this ball of yarn on clearance because they'd discontinued the colour (Spice). I mention this because otherwise this yarn is around $11/ball! (I think I ( Read more... ) -

Yarn About Knitting
Four or five years ago I started learning to knit...for the first couple of years, I was limited to flat/square things - dishclothes, scarves, random squares etc. In the last year or so I have made an effort to learn some new skills so that I can move beyond items that are all straight lines and right angles...

Feeling kind of lost at the moment. Not figuratively - I mean that I don't live anywhere in particular. I'm constantly on the move between my parent's house and my fiance's and don't really feel comfortable at either place. Familial issues at home.
