Eeek. well, it was bound to happen; we relived the 70s until recently, so clearly the 80s were next.

but I feel like my mother did seeing hip-huggers reinvented as "low-ride jeans."

No! I need my boot cut and straight leg jeans! First I had to weather bell bottoms, then lo rise, and now...is it to much to ask to have regular leg jeans that sit nicely below the belly button?
