garden vegetable delight!

May 28, 2010 09:07

I'm cutting back the overgrowth of parsley, oregano, chives, mint and lemon balm. It's all too much for me even with the constant making of tea, and chomping down a salad at every meal.

And now for my friends:
garden goodness )

That wooden border just changes the whole look of your garden. What a difference just one thing can make! Thanks for the pics; that looks great!

In my experience, there is no such thing as "stunted basil." It is only basil that has yet to take over the world.

your awesomeness is reflected in your correct assessment of the fundamental nature of basil.

Wow, I am envious of your strawberries. I am only getting berries off the ones in the greenhouse yet, none of the outside plants is close to ripe.

My garden is overrun with lemon balm too, it's unstoppable!

Nothing beats home grown! It was a perfect May here - wet and hot with cooler nights.

I'm transplanting the perennials into the side of the house - they'll be undisturbed and their flowers will add to the curb appeal. It'll be interesting to see whether they can coexist or whether one will win out in a few years.

Gorgeous garden!

Ours is still just "at the beginning" up here. Mind, it snowed only a week ago, so it's all relative ;)

Very much a point :)
Sunrise is approaching 4am, sunset is approaching midnight. My mom (the gardener at the house here) is fully taking advantage of that with her gardens and greenhouse.

Cheers!
