i was just so lucky enough to attend an imbura (i dunno how to spell that) music performance in someone's living room.  its a little hand piano type thing where you kinda pluck little metal pieces and the imbura sits inside a big shell and bounces and pings outta the shell and into lovely little ears.  its from zimbabwe, and at first, it sounds ( Read more... )

monday thru thursday was kinda weird and sort've a bummer for i dont really know why.  but then friday i didnt have to go into work and i went for a quaint walk and found a walnut tree with tons of walnuts on the sidewalk.  and now im getting to spend the weekend on a beautiful island.  so yes, i enjoy.

life is so easy and so good in portland oregon.  i feel good every minute.  i feel like a pot of water right before it starts to boil.  its slowly lurching and bobbling and bubbling.  my insides feel like that, but instead of water, its a warm mixture of nice colors and peppermint specks speckled throughout.  i have a big queen size bed now instead ( Read more... )
