Well, barring a catastrophe, we got our dream apartment. I am ridiculously excited about it. We got the call on Tuesday that one came open and we were there first thing Wednesday mornging filling out paperwork. Charlie and I have been looking for apartments recently. Once we had to put in our 60 day notice where we are, we figured it was time to find something else. We had one picked out, and we've been calling constantly but so far they don't have any openings and we're starting to think we may need a backup plan. Today was Valentine's Day (well actually it's yesterday now but whatever). It was good. Charlie was off, and we spent the day just hanging out. He bought me a card, a giant singing balloon and a monkey that whistles. It's adorable and I love it and I love him even more for trying to hide the singing balloon from me WHILE it was singing. Well, in case anyone was wondering, I did make it to graduation. I did everything possible to screw myself over in the process (including writing the day of a final wrong on my calendar so that I missed the final and had to beg mercy from the teacher).
