Okay, ME + A PARACHUTE + AN INSTRUCTOR + 12,000 feet in the air = THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE EVER! (Or so I think....it remains to be seen if I will get terrified when the door of the plane opens and I have to actually step through it... but hey. I'm thrilled about it right now!!!)

I just wanted to wish all you livejournal people a wonderful Christmas! I am SO happy to be back home! I spent all week with my friends, family, and most happily with my boyfriend, Duncan. I'm reading a book on play skills in children with autism...and I don't know why I just thought of this randomly, but I read the phrase "to the rest of us is second nature"

We say a lot of things come like second nature... What is first nature?

yeah, switching to 60 minute therapy sessions from 90 minutes sessions has totally thrown my day off today...lol. But it's been good anyway. I'm wondering how much I'll actually be able to accomplish with some of my kids in only an hour (takes some of them the first half of the session just to accept demands on them)... but whatever ( Read more... )
