I haven't written in my livejournal since the end of the summer. I hate facebook, because it is uninteresting and impersonal. I always valued livejournal as a way to connect with the world... to say whatever I wanted and have people read it. And I miss this outlet. when I hear people's reactions when I tell them that I'm starting a club, I realize more and more that the people in Newton are no better than anyone else. I hear constantly that Newton is a place where the people are liberal and educated, but I constantly see contradictions, especially among its youth.
