The crew in my backyard who are taking down the pine trees have wrecked half of the magnolia. It's a sad sight for me, when I look out and see so little of the tree which has always been so full and relatively symmetrical. It is now unbalanced and bare. I think I lack direction these days because I lack addiction. It was much easier to be satisfied when I was smoking cigarettes. These days I sleep a lot. These days I don't eat much, or healthily. My car lives again, with the engine from my old car, which came from my Blazer. I think it was angry that I left it behind in the backyard, and its spirit went out and attacked the engine of my newer car so that it would be able to rejoin me.
