I truly can't remember the last time I posted on here...

It actually could have been nearly two years ago. I really don't have an excuse for not posting. I haven't been exceedingly busy (actually, I've been laid off from work and haven't, as of yet, found a new job, but I do have a few leads). Its kind of like when you get really into something, but over time, you lose your interest and then, one day ( Read more... )

Howdy stranger! Good to hear from you!

My few attempts at blogging about my political views, etc haven't exactly been met with much agreement, lol. So, I rarely do it anymore. Wish I could grow some cajones and learn to discuss things with people whether they agree or disagree instead of avoiding confrontation altogether! ;)

Arrrggh! I'm guessing we'll be buying World Tour since GYOW is on it! Beth is a master of I, II, and III, so I suppose she might as well go on tour, huh? :p

Rock Band 2 also has GYOW on it, but I like World Tour better due to Hotel California (Eagles), Hollywood Nights (Bob Seger) and the like. I do think that they missed an opportunity by not putting the Dance version of GYOW on there as it has the nice drum/guitar intro. At least Sweet Home Alabama is the live version...too bad I'm not crazy about that song.

I'm prepping myself for the day when Evan will be able to school me in games like GH. That could be the day I turn in my controller...:(

Ahh, my friend, that day is coming. Beth bought herself a Wii a few weeks ago (she's obviously got the "saving money" thing mastered, huh?). Last night, we she played Mario Galaxy, the game she got for her birthday. I was lost. It was entertaining to watch, though.

You've got to get MarioKart Wii -- it is a hoot. Do you guys have the Wi-Fi service? If so, we can swap Friend Codes and I can send you some of the Miis I've created (Lindsey and Mick are hysterical).

Glad to see you're doing well. I too haven't posted in a few years, but I still peruse here every once in a while. I have a little girl now that's 9 months old and yeah, I think she's pretty smart so you're probably right about the bias. =)

I've actually been doing Facebook a lot lately, but it's like Myspace in that there really isn't any blogging.
