And I don't even know where to start. I took enough notes that I could probably come up with a comprehensive travel journal for each day, although I don't know if anyone's interested (it's what, three weeks in total?). I have a load of gorgeous pictures though.

So, how did you get back home, since you lost your passport? I imagine that must've been frustrating. And I had heard about the dog/yak/*insert random animal*-meat... my dad spent time in Vietnam, Thailand, and a few other places during the Vietnam war. The only one I can clearly remember is the bat wing soup. Probably blocked the rest out. LOL

How do Chinese KFC's differ from US ones? And monkeys! Hopefully not at KFC. Or if they were, they were ordering mashed potatoes or something. ;)

Wellllllllcome back! Timing is funny, I'm leaving tomorrow. :) You don't have to post an entire journal record, but I'd be interested in hearing highlights. Glad you liked Jiuzhaigou and that the beautiful pictures aren't deceptive. A Chinese guy I know visited China, and when he came back, he commented that he liked it, except there were "too many Chinese people."

Haha, squat toilets and no toilet paper.. I could have warned you. It was similar in SE Asia, except if you held out long enough, you could usually find a sit down toilet, and I developed a system of stealing enough toilet paper from my hotels to get me to the next place with toilet paper.

YESS! Post all your notes! I want to read! ...Although, I know I hardly have posted my notes or my pictures. Although one set of my videos are up!

(I start getting really bad about the writing once I start seeing lots of things I like and sparkly things--and then I lose my head and start floating in the clouds!!!)

2) That's slightly surprising, but not that surprising. Did you go to more rural areas? I stuck to places that were more advanced in development than not. Or does that not have to do with development and just more their expected diet?

3) Japan had more western toliets than Taiwan did. I was very surprised. Only the rural areas didn't.
