Happy Halloween

A bittersweet day today. It was really nice to see Andrew and Emilee get all excited to dress up and go treat-or-treating. I'm glad they had a lot of fun. Reminiscing and nostalgia however have left my mood in a low. If I wasn't on mood stabilizers then this would be really bad. I had a feeling that doesn't come around very often, that feeling of a ( Read more... )

Anime, House.. just stay away from Japanese or Korean dramas, because they'll suck you in! Is it already that late over there? It's still only 2 in the afternoon here, and you JUST posted this. I can't wait to go trick-or-treating, I'm looking for that nostalgia you speak of. Fun stuff! I like wearing my costume and getting candy bwahaha.

I've been starting up an exercise regimen, too! One thing I heard is a good idea is getting an "accountability partner", someone to keep you going when you don't feel like it so much. I think that's why people enjoy working out with friends as well. But either way, any sort of exercise is better than none, with or without someone! Let's do our best and work hard to see some good results!

Well, there's a nine hour time difference between here and California (eight if you count the fact that Germany does DST a week before the States). It makes it a bit difficult to call home in Utah during a time when my Dad is home from work.

As for anime, I've a sucker for the Shounen stuff that doesn't go on forever like Code Geass. And I just finished watching Cowboy Bebop! good stuff.

Hahah, I like the way you write. You bite those bullets, watch Trigun, and let's geek out over it. Or if you understand Evangelion, let me know. I'm determined to minor in Japanese, one way or another.

Go Zach! I want to start exercising again too.

Yeah, it seems like some days you WANT to be happy, and some days you just can't. Or what seems important yesterday gets thrown by the wayside for months. That's my biggest mountain to climb with respect to my faith. Some days I'm on the ball; other times I act like I'm the only person in the world. I think everything we do requires some high-intensity interval training sometimes.

Trigun on my to-watch list actually... haha. And evangelion is an eventual target for me since it's a mecha. I'm a sucker for those giant robots.

And amen to that, sister. It's such a blessing when you may feel like you're at your worst and things can't get worse, but a small simply thing will come your way that brings great joy to your heart for that small requiem of peace. Like when I feel like I can't get any more depressed and my little sister comes into my room, gives me a hug and tells me she loves me. :D

I loved Europe but sometimes there just wasn't anything for me to do when I lived there too. :)

I'm glad writing is helping you relieve some of your stresses and such!
