My dad had a heart attack. He will be having a bypass either Friday or Monday.

This is a total shock since he is very active and does not have a problem with cholesterol. Not in the mood to write more.

So by communicating, I found out I need to communicate more. Sweet. Not really anything I didn't already know, but still....

There was NO acknowledgment of my birthday or our anniversary by my husband's parents (except for a day-after-the-fact comment on his Facebook wall)..... No card, no phone call, nothing.

For some reason this really, really bothers me.

The buildings are not very soundproof. Our upstairs neighbor has a dog, or so we surmise. A few times during the day it sounds as if there is a wrestling match going on up there. Our bedroom is directly above one of the entrances to the building so I know when people are coming and going. You can hear people walking around either in their own ( Read more... )

Ok, I'm ready for this to be over. I'm ready to be out of Michigan. We have too much stuff. I've found things that've made me cry. I've already got four bags worth of clothes to donate. Even though my parents and husband and friends are keeping in touch, I feel alone in all of this. It sucks. I'm glad Matt is happy with his job but right now ( Read more... )

If one more friend ends up in divorce proceedings and/or getting laid off I'm going to scream.

So yeah, we're moving to Massachusetts. I am so stressed that I've had nausea and diarrhea. I need to relax and take it one day at a time. Matt will be gone all next week at his new job while I stay here to pack. I can do it, just need to do one room at a time. At least we don't live in a big house. I'll keep telling myself that...
