Busy Weekend

Apr 10, 2006 12:28

Friday was my last day of uni before Easter Break. After two lectures in the morning, dissection lab in the afternoon, I took the EuroNight train to Hamburg (via Hannover) in the evening. Early the next morning, 6:13 AM to be precise, I got out in the lovely (ha,ha) capital of Lower Saxony.

Uhm, allow me a small fangirl moment first, please....

ZOMG, COMMODORE NORRINGTON!!!!! *melts* HAS THERE EVER, IN ALL OF MOVIE HISTORY BEEN A SEXIER BEAST OF A MAN HUNTING DOWN A PIRATE??? *is a puddle of goo*Hum, ok, I'm back to my calm, controlled self now... Happy to see that there is another "Coupling" fan. I've watched all four seasons. Have you watched the DVD commentary by Jack Davenport and Keira Knightley on the PotC DVD? It's sooo funny!
I'll probably be grinning like mad when I see "Dead Man's Folly" this summer and the Commodore appears on screen.

The Austrian President seems to have sparked a fierce debate with his interview, hehe. The Moscow Declaration of 1943 had stated that Austria was the first victim of Nazi Germany - forgetting the fact that Hitler got all of his ideas in Austria in the first place.
I'm all for forgiving but not forgetting as well! It's the "black or white" attitude that I don't like so much.

OK, so I've had the DVD for over a year now - how come I never even thought of turning on the audio commentary (or even checking whether there was one in the first place)? I'm feeling very stupid now... o_O But still, thanks for the heads-up! I'll be sure to turn it on the next time I watch the movie ( ... )
