I highly encourage you to leave MI for a while- I have the same thoughts as you, that I would like to raise my family/kids in MI, but I'm sooo glad that I 've left MI behind for a bit. It gives you a new appreciation for the state as well as gives you all kinds of experiences.

You can always come home ;-)

I want to redo freshmen year too cause it was the best!
In Florida you don't even need a teaching degree to be a teacher and lots of jobs are available!
