Jonas will be going to college, and here's why (beginning of rant)
Today Jonas is one month old. What better way to celebrate than to talk to him about college. (Seriously, I couldn’t come up with a better beginning than that… hopefully the lack of a segue distresses you less than it distresses me).

lack of sleep + Jonas getting older = mushy stream of consciousness
J-dog (the name I started calling Jonas to tick off Kerry, which seems to be catching on with others now…) is a month old tomorrow, and therefore will no longer be a newborn.
I think I’d be more upset by this fact if I’d been getting more sleep. Last night I got a paltry four hours, but most days I think I’ve been getting five or five and a half.

Here's the thing: Don't pick your nose in public.
As a kid I was always told not to pick my nose, and to this day my family mocks me for nose-picking sins which occurred at the age of seven. No-one ever thought to tell me that I can't pick my nose because it's not socially acceptable!

I'm not sure whether to be excited that this movie will likely come out on DVD in the near future, or pissed off that it's not playing anywhere near-by.
