The day passed by smoothly and soon Kazuya was on his way back home. He smiled as he remembered Jin’s words as he walked from his car into the apartment he shared with the older.
“I’m home.” He called but when he didn’t get a respond directly the smile on his face disappeared. He walked into the living room only to find it empty and he continued to the kitchen but got disappointed again. He then though that maybe Jin hadn’t got up from bed yet so he opened the door only to get slightly angered that he found also that room empty. He walked over to the bed and lay down on it, closing his eyes just for a moment. Thinking about what could have happened.

Jin had heard Kazuya enter the apartment while he was showering and had hurried out and dried himself as fast as he could. Though when he opened the bathroom door and walked in to the living room, where he thought that the younger was, he got surprised that it was empty. He knew Kazuya never went into the kitchen except when he needed something to eat or was going to cook, so he walked directly to the bedroom, opening the door only to find a fast asleep Kazuya on the bed. He smiled and walked over to sit beside the younger.
He leaned closer so he could kiss the younger, waking him up. “Hey, you’re home early.” He smiled at the younger only to get a scolding look back.
“You broke your promise.” Kazuya said angry, not really looking at the other.
This surprised Jin though since he had been at home just in another room. “What do you mean? I’ve been at home all day just waiting for you.” Okay, that might not be completely true since he had been preparing everything for that evening when the rest would show up, but he couldn’t say that to Kazuya, that would ruin the surprise.
First now did Kazuya look at Jin properly only to find that the older was only dressed in a towel around the hips and was slightly dripping of water telling that he had just exited the shower. Kazuya felt ashamed that he had thought that Jin had broken the promise. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be angry of you.”
Jin kissed the younger deeply making the other moan into it. “You really thought that I would leave?” he said into the kiss knowing that this was the frightening thought that Kazuya had indeed thought. “Since you really should trust me, you need to be punished for doubting me like this.” He smirked and placed himself on top of the younger kissing the later all the time.
Kazuya felt how Jin kissed every part of him like there was no tomorrow. He soon noticed that Jin was actually undressing him while kissing him. Kazuya knew what was about to happen and he knew he would love it.
Suddenly that annoying ringtone sounded from the bedside table where Jin probably had placed it before he went to the shower. This made Jin groan in annoyance which made Kazuya chuckle. Jin reached for his phone glaring at it as if he could make it quiet just by looking at it, but decided to answer the call anyway.
“Why is it that every time I’ve tried to have sex with my boyfriend, who by the way I haven’t seen for several months, YOU or your BOYFRIEND call and disturb the wonderful atmosphere.” He said in an annoyed voice to the caller. Kazuya’s cheeks had turned red by the comment his boyfriend had used.
“Eh?” Was Koki’s only reply on that answer, then he realised what Jin had just pointed out. “For goodness sake Jin, I did not what to know that. Now I need to wash my ears with soap.” Koki whined.
“Well, it’s the second time in less than twelve hours.” This time Kazuya smacked Jin on the head, making Jin whine a bit. “What do you want Koki?”
“What the… Jin! Fine since you’re obviously not into the idea anymore I guess I’ll call the others and tell them it’s off.” Koki answered annoyed this time. Since it had been Jin’s idea all along to surprise Kame on Christmas day, it felt useless to continue the surprise if Jin no longer wanted it.
Though by this comment Jin realised what Koki was talking about and his expression changed from annoyed to shocked. “Wait, wait, wait. Koki, I was just kidding.” Jin sat up glancing apologetically at Kazuya then took the towel, which had landed on the floor just a few minutes ago, and walked out of the room. “Is something wrong since you’re calling?” he asked when he reached the living room.
“No, everything is set. Though, you need to get Kazuya out of the house in less than one hour if it’s going to work. I just called to remind you.” Koki answered. “Go to that restaurant or something… I need to go, Yuichi says hi.”
“Oh yeah, I remember. Sure, thanks. Tell him I said Hi too.” Jin hung up after the two of them said their goodbye and walked back to the bedroom. He smiled at Kazuya while he sat down on the bed. “Kazu? How about something to eat? Are you hungry?”
Kazuya who found it cute the way Jin acted in front of him smiled. He was hungry so he nodded his head. “I need to get dressed first though.” He sat up. “What do you want to eat?”
Jin smiled. “I thought about that restaurant at the corner.” Jin knew Kazuya loved that restaurant the most. That was the place where Jin had confessed to him so many years ago. And they always went to that one on their anniversary.
Kazuya looked really happy now and literally jumped of the bed and ran to the door, only stopping to announce that he would take a shower. After about ten minutes Kazuya entered the room again, this time with a towel around his waist just like Jin had done just a while ago. Though, when Kazuya entered the bedroom Jin was lying on the bed, dressed in only a pair of dark worn-out jeans, reading.
Kazuya smiled and walked over to the wardrobe. “Are you only going to wear that?” he asked. One part of him wanted the answer to be just that while the rest of him wanted to stay in the apartment with Jin dressed in absolutely nothing.
Jin looked at his boyfriends back by the wardrobe. “Actually I couldn’t decide on what shirt to wear.”
Kazuya smiled at the answer, still with his back facing Jin so that the other couldn’t see it. He had missed the way Jin always had a hard time to choose cloths when they were going out to dinner. He looked through Jin’s cloths that had been left in the apartment after the other had left for US and found a greyish slightly glossy shirt that Jin had used before he left.
Kazuya turned around and showed it to Jin. “How about this one?” he handed it to Jin, who took it, before turning around again to grab his light jeans and a black shirt and got dressed. When they both were fully dressed they walked out of the apartment heading to the restaurant.
