Dec 31, 2008 11:57

The final fic went up yesterday so santa_smex has finished for the 2008 year, the last run of this fest. The authors' identities will be revealed sometime after January 13/14th in order to give readers a chance to catch up with fics they still want to check out. This year, we were lucky enough to have a number of very generous guest authors added to the mix ( Read more... )

I have a couple guesses... but the hard thing is, I already know who wrote some of them, and at least one of those would have been one I could easily guess, so I can't say. :-)

I think prillalar wrote "The Pirate King and I", not just because it's InuKai but because of the way the details are handled and the matter-of-factness about the sentences, if that makes any sense.

I had to think long and hard about who might have written my story, "Take me back to where it all began", but I think cmere might have done. I've always liked her HP fic. :-)

The others? I just can't guess. :-( I'm not very good at guessing, really, unless I've just finished reading a lot of someone's work and it's fresh in my mind.

Hmmm I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the fics! The Kite/Atobe one threw me for a loop. I did not see that pairing coming, but it was great. I'm not very familiar with many of the writers, so my one guess is that reposoir wrote The Twelve Ways of Christmas. Reason A: Tezuka's milk bubble and Reason B: Shishidou calling Ohtori "Babe" :)

Thanks for the hard work!

I actually had a comment in this tab with some guesses... and I never managed to post it before reveals went up. :3

Anyway, thank you for running this exchange again and administrating all the craziness. Getting so many beautiful fics to read has been the highlight of my chirstmas for three years now and I want you to know how much I (and I'm sure all the recipients and authors) appreciate it.
