I like that song, never seen the movie, have no idea what it's about!
You saw the Dalai Lama??????????
I have jealousy!
You know, you've breathed Bachchan air and Dalai Lama air, I'd hate you, but that wouldn't make the Dalai Lama happy.
We have a picture of the Dalai Lama on a table next to a Buddha statue and some prayer chimes. It's the only sacred thing on display in this house. My family call themselves Christians, if I would call myself anything, it'd probably be closer to Buddhist than Christian.
It is a catchy song. I don't know what the movie was about either - I started watching late and stopped watching after the song. But still… there was something quite odd about the sardarjis in a cheap club song.
Of course it wouldn't make him happy. We don't want to promote violence. (O, and apparently I misquoted him. It's not "any action motivated by jealousy or greed: that is violence." It was, "Any act motivated by such anger, hatered, jealousy, then these actions are essentially violence."
The only problem with the Indian Channels is that they show stuff in IST and we're US EDT (soon to be US EST). *sigh*
sorry about the election. somehow these things do work out for the best. didn't get the job i thought i wanted. my friends who did get those jobs totally HATE it while i love my new job. hopefully not being elected will be a positive for you.
indian channel pack!?! awesome!!! i visited my uncle in nyc who had it and didn't want to leave. (it's an oasis compared to where i live)
Well I've decided to sit in on the meetings, and all is not lost - I can petition on for something else.
This morning I woke up to the middle of Filhaal. Of course, I couldn't actually watch cause I had to get ready for class, but still - it was pretty neat.
The Dalai Lama = really cool, and he's so sweet. And funny.
