Wow, Sarah, that's beautiful. How many hours does a piece like that take?

Thank you! I don't really keep track of it. My work on it was ver sporadic (sp?) and I didn't always work on it when I had the time and knew I should have. Sometimes you have to push through avoiding and just do it and sometimes you have to leave it alone for a while so you don't end up hating and so maybe your perspective about what you're seeing can change.

ooooo it's the painting! i can't wait to meet it in person... you did a wonderful job! i like being able to see you strokes but you still complete the form realistically. but that's just from looking at a web photo... hope to meet up soon!!

Actually, I'm not sure whether or not you will get this in time, but Laura and I are going to the Old Deerfield craft fair today - would you like to come with? I think you have my cell phone number - don't call the apt #, that phone is shit or our line is shit...something is shitty - if you don't have my cell, e-mail me.
