All I have to say is that Fear Street pwns the sauce out of Sleepover Friends EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK!

*GRIN*

Fear Street IS wicked awesome. I love how they're spooky, even when you kinda know what's coming and then BAM you didn't know at all, really, and you end up having to sleep with the lights on.

Oh my! There was so much to love in this post!!! <3 Last year I discovered Terry Goodkind and ended up failing my accounting midsemester because I was so absorbed in one of the eleven(!!) books. I then lent the first three to my friends and was shamed. I admit, I glossed over some of the more adult content... and then the tv series came out and it was just wrong and I don't think I can ever read the series again for the association ( ... )

I LOVE the TV series!!!!!!! I only read the first book, and that was a long time ago, so I didn't have really specific expectations going into it. I love the casting so it totally works for me.

My only issue with it: not enough Chase. :(

I had all the Baby-sitters Club books too. But unlike Sleepover Friends, which promised me that sleepovers were fun (they were!), BSC promised me that babysitting was awesome. And it was not! The kids were evil nightmares and their dog puked all the time. There was never a BSC "Claudia and the Puking Shi-Tzu" episode to warn me away. I was so deceived ...

Aw, thank you! ♥

It helps that I have committed to blogging every day in April ... and yet have no ideas for blog posts.

I will go back to being anti-meme AND contrary soon enough. ;)

Yay for self-indulgent book posts! I love hearing people talk about their reading habits. :D (Er, "reading" people "write" about their habits, I suppose...)

Which Harry are you apologizing to?

Aaaand ... weren't you going to read Pride and Prejudice at some point? ^.~=

That would be Harry Potter. Poor kid, languishing in obscurity ...

Yes! I'm about 40 pages into Pride & Prejudice, and haven't actually thrown it into a fire, so I consider that in-progress. I do intend to finish it. One of these days. ^^;
