NO THERE IS NO BABY YET

Had an ultrasound today and apart from a revealing shot of little David's scrotum, it was nothing out of the ordinary. He's allegedly 8 lb. 2 oz. My brother's wife was induced one week after her due date last month and everything went really well. The only thing that didn't work into their plans (they are anal planners where everything must happen on time!) is that it took a lot longer then they expected. They started the induction drugs at 7 am and their daughter was born at 11:55 pm.

Unlike when Will was born, they have some good drugs they can give you through the IV that take the edge off of the pain.

I will be watching your blog for the big announcement!

Yeah, I wound up induced with Anderson and it was a marathon for sure. We got there at 5 a.m. and I had him at 9:30 p.m. after pushing for almost 2 hours. I was simply not really ready yet, I think. So I've been trying to delay something like an induction as much as possible, but I'm really starting to think it's where we're headed. I just have no real symptoms, so unless they hit all at once, I am getting used to the idea that we'll be inducing next week.

I will be sure to let you know when it does happen!
