Yesterday, I saw a guy riding a Segway over the Fremont Bridge. I like living in Seattle.

Erick and I watched Donnie Darko last night. Wow, was it a good movie. It was so good that I didn't pick up my knitting once during the whole movie. I was one hundred percent rapt. And now I have a monster-sized infatuation with both Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal. I can't wait to see Secretary.

Not much has made me feel like writing lately. What with all of this change (falling crazy in love, moving from New York to Seattle, totally changing my social circle), I think I've been putting all of my energy into remembering who I am in my head. About once every three months, I pick up a new "hobby." This season's obsession is knitting. It's fun to make things that are actually usable, plus all the cool kids are doing it! I read an article today that calls knitting "the new yoga." ( Want to see what I've made? )
