Sarah!! I didn't realize you were visiting this area...I could've given you a tour around Pasadena (where I am)!! Oh well, glad you had a nice time. =D If you come to Cali for school, we'll have to try to get together with Dianna and Darshana or something!

I only had two days of free time since I was mainly there to "Explore USC," as the program name said. But if I do end up going to school there, an all-Ames gathering would be wonderful!

P.S. YOU call it "Cali," too? :D

You know, I always thought of USC as a school for rich kids who couldn't get into ivy-league class schools and jocks.

I mean, one of their proudest achievements is that their school produces more Olympic athletes than any other. That, and the "famous" person from USC is Levar Burton from Reading Rainbow and Geordi LaForge fame...

Actually, I didn't see a lot of rich kids. There are plenty of (smart) Midwest hicks there... many of whom gave up Ivy League schools for USC.

But there were jocks who ate fruit. It was kinda weird.

Okay, so in this next chapter, Rosie gets herself a dude. A tall, athletic, kind, smart dude. What the fuck, seriously!!

I guess she was just jealous of Jamie always getting all the action. We all know that's really what the book is all about.

Not to rain on the amusement, but the kid sort of had a point. Ray-Ray used to like to play the race card. I know this because he called my mommy racist a few times, which is utterly ridiculous. She just doesn't like stupid people, has nothing to do with race.
