relief. flooded with relief - able to remain calm for the first time in aaaages. prolonged, too - still calm. its a sortve studied calm, like focusing on it out of the corner of my eye, but even that makes it stick more. i can be a bit melodramatic.

hot weather. crazy house that deserves a novel; thunderstorms. weird girl and frustrations with work. hot eggs. coloring book! the apartment is finally comfortable. (and we leave) need some new way to look at work.

got my first b+ of college in... drumroll please... writing fellows. it pisses me off. i'm really trying not to let it piss me off - i should be glad, now the pressure of the all a's streak is gone, but without ever having gotten anything less than an a in any real class. i taught a writing class and wrote her stupid essays about nothing and graded ( Read more... )
