Since last we spoke, I finished the Lynburn Legacy series, wrote an article on sexism in the Toast (super excited to be hosted by the Toast, and Malinda Lo wrote an awesome companion article about homophobia as well as sexism), and went on tour round England with Holly Black ( Read more... )

Love this story with an immense intensity that I did not know my brain was capable of! So cram-packed with feels and actions and beautiful writing! Thank you thank you for this story, I am looking forward to the next instalment so much!

Congratulations also for having finished writing the Lynburn Legacy series! I assume it will be available fall 2014? Marking my calendar ;-) And gosh, another trilogy down, what's next??

It was a joy to meet you at Foyles, cannot believe you made a human sacrifice scene sound sexy! I am still emotionally disturbed, but in a happy sort of way. Thank you again for signing my books! I mean, your books that I bought! I'm still rooting for Rusty to get some action with Lillian, forever a Lusty shipper ;-)

It was a joy to meet you, too, I am so glad that the human sacrifice scene appealed. ;)

... Next are... a few things, I hope. *looks mysterious and faraway*

And I am so pleased the story is working for you!

Ooh . . . you caught me just as I was sitting down with tea, again . . . to write, in theory, but when I saw this was out I just had to read, instead. This story has just utterly stolen my heart; I will now be giddy for a few days while I process everything that was said and done here. Thank you so much!

*beams* I am so happy you are enjoying, and that you had tea. Tea with story is the best!

It is, indeed. Now I just need to convince my best reading buddy to bump this up her list, so I have someone to squeal at :) (Last time I squealed at everyone anyway, but when no one else has the context, it can be . . . less than satisfying.)

I like the characters, I really do. And I love the way they develop. And I will defenetely read this again and again because it's so funny that I often have to stop and take a breath and then I burst out laughing again. Apart from that, I feel the story itself, the world and the action incomplete, as if they would be just a little something so that the characters would have the opportunity to be heroes. Although, the society is really interesting.
Now, is that because you don't really have time, or wish to develop this story? Was it always your purpose to focus just on the characters? Or is it because I don't understand it properly? I mean English is not my native language, so that's perfectly possible.
(By the way do something and get your books translated into Romainan pleasepleaseplease)

Also I don't have an account here but I have this feristia.tumblr.com/ in case I don't know, you want to let me know that you saw a flying carpet, a man turning into a mosquito or that you have found the perfect flavour of tea.
