Heck... I hoped it wwould be a little better with your back by now. On the other side it's a good thing you know now what it is. Although I think it's really strange how your doctor treats you. I mean... seems he has no real social skills or he's just not interested. But that should be a part of being and working as a doctor.
I cross my fingers that your insurance does pay the operations you need/want. I wish you'll get well/at least better soon. *hugs*
My doctor doesn't have any social skills. It took several visits before he relaxed enough to kinda talk with us normally.
I think he's just completely uninteresting in the normal day to day doctor stuff. What he wants to hear is what's wrong with you. Then he wants to figure out how he can surgically fix you. That's it. So every time I brought up pain meds or something it was like it completely went over his head.
I agree that's it's weird and should be a part of being a doctor, but sense he can't seem to handle that part of it I'm glad he's found someone who can.
Thanks for your well wishes! We were suppose to be making a Germany trip next year... at this rate it's going to get pushed back AGAIN!
Doh! Well at least you left the office more informed. I sure hope that they can do something for you girl. It sucks to be in pain all the time. I'm sending good thoughts your way!
Yes - knowing a name and knowing your options is a relief. Meanwhile we continue to hold you in our prayers!! I'm glad that surgeon's assistant is a better communicator!
I read a book by a surgeon who said surgeons are only happy in the operating theater because the patients lie there without talking. Sorry to hear all the bad news; glad you do have a name for it for sure.
Its good to have an name.. and not guessing.. i just hope that they can get you all fixed up.. maybe we can have the hot tub all fixed up by the time u get here!! :)
