what do you do when your best friend's husband is diagnosed with probably terminal cancer? she's quitting her job to stay home with him and take care of their grandchild so her husband can spend as much time as possible with the baby (her husband's retired). if anyone has any practical ideas, i need to hear them. i'm not good at this stuff. -

hey, we have a little bit of money coming from a small stock sale and we'd like to turn it around and put it back in, but this time we'd really like to invest in some sort of company that does work in the third world, helping farmers and co-ops, etc (instead of green energy) but for the life of me i can't figure out how to find the right company.
