They used Ryan Adams' wonderful cover of "Wonderwall" yesterday on "the O.C.". That, and one of the main characters (Seth) likes Death Cab for Cutie and Bright Eyes. Oh, and they used Rufus Wainwright's wonderful "California" in one of the first episodes.

It might be a bad (though fun) show, but the makers sure have taste in music!

Sometimes I just get these instantaneous, fleeting crushes. With passersby, but also with random things. Case in point: "Coin-operated boy", a song by the Dresden girls (I hadn't heard of them before either). Very weird song, intriguing. Worth checking out.
