Penny TOO!

Penny's nose is bloody now too!

:(

The only thing we can find is some spilled Laundry Soap behind the laundry cart, which we're cleaning up now.

It is Laundry Soap (as opposed to detergent) but contains borax:

Could this be the

bloody nose dilemna, penny, cats

OMG! I have no idea if this could be the cause. I would call the vet right away and see if they think this could be the cause. Poor kitties!

I'll probably wait until Monday and take them both into the vet and mention it then - depending on how things are going with both of them.

Yes, I hope someone can give you an idea of what it could be from.

It seems to be the same, so it's just gotta be something they got into, and this is the only thing we can find that could be a culprit.

Oh no! I just googled and it can cause red skin irritations. What else is in the soap??

It seems like just "soap" and "borax".

BUT, we don't actually think that is what spilled now. We had a box of washing soda in the laundry cabinet, the box split and it was spilling out of that, and then spilling out the back of a crack in the laundry cabinet.

So NOW we think it's the washing soda...

They're both now in the garbage and the area swept and mopped up.
