weekend without the Moo

This weekend started horribly... By the time we were ready to leave for the cottage, I didn't want to go and felt really horrible and in a complete bad mood. The trip to the cottage without my Maddie was harder than I imagined it would be (and I did think it would be hard). I cried a lot Friday night as we were going to bed, and a lot more on

That is nice too. We actually have a drawer of cat toys at the cottage, but very much in use.

When we lost Teya, I went through my pictures of her, and some of the pictures Brian had from before we met. I found many of her with each of her family members--her and Aakhu, her and Dom, her and Morgan. Some had all of them, or groups of three. Being a picture framer, Brian took the selection we'd made and put them together in a frame (with a multiple opening mat), in the center of which was a larger photo of her I'd taken shortly before she became ill. I am glad we did. I still need to put together photos of Morgan for her own memorial
