Appointment for 11am...

She's improved slightly within the last hour and a half or so, enough at least that I can wait for the 11am appointment instead of taking her elsewhere for her final vet appointment.

Maddie's been home from the vet for about four hours now. When she first got home I followed her around everywhere, unsure if our cats would act weird towards her because she smells like vet. She REALLY smells live vet. They've all been fine ( Read more... )

Visited Maddie at the vet twice today - each time she was doing better. As long as things keep improving, we can pick her up to bring her home at 12:30 tomorrow!

Called the vet, and Maddie is doing better than yesterday. I guess that doesn't really say much, since she was doing horrible yesterday. I'm really trying not to get my hopes up here, but I just want a little more time with her.

It's official that Maddie's kidneys are failing. Her thyroid levels are also too high again. The two don't go together very well, as her tapazole will need to be increased, but that will adversely affect the kidneys ( Read more... )
