I had to put my oldest dog, Bear, to sleep yesterday morning. May he rest in peace. At least he's no longer in any pain, and he lead a full 17 + years of life.

So I'm betting a few of you might not be aware, but tomorrow I'm leaving for Europe. I'm traveling to Romania for 2 weeks, where I'll be staying with my dad and step-mom. I has it! Graduation is this saturday. Students walk in at 9:45 and the ceremony starts at 10 AM. Location? The superdome. In case any of you are interested.

So I just found out that Jackie Earle Haley (as in the guy who played Rorschach in the Watchmen movie) is going to be the new Freddie Kreuger in the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake. I'm oddly conflicted in this judgement call. It's not that I'm skeptical of his ability to portray the character, but more so a feeling of alienation. I grew up ( Read more... )
