I'd like to link this from my journal. Very powerful and potent and well-written.

You are more than welcome to link it. I think Rev. Gibbons gave a very powerful message on Sunday. It's one we all need to think on seriously.

What is a thinking person of conscience to do? I vote, I donate money. I don't have time to do phone calling right now, but I KNOW I don't want to live in a totalitarian regime under a despot and a lying congress. I am very afraid for this country, when it seems that the liars are winning, and the people of conscience are not being heard.

I wish I had a complete answer to that. I vote and donate money, too. My solution has been to start letting people know what's happening. I posted my minister's sermon.

The more people are aware of their rights that have been eroded, the better chance we have to stop it from continuing.

You wouldn't believe how many people are unaware of what was done. They're horrified and disbelieving when told. People have to know what's happening.

One person at a time. One friend at a time.

(btw, posting a sermon doesn't seem to have encouraged many people to actually READ this, much less become informed, but she said it so well. Thank you for reading this.)
