Concert
K-4 concert went well. Third graders sang out without shouting and every word could be understood from the back of the hall. 4th graders, not so much. One down, one to go. -
I can haz advisor. I iz smiling!
It's official, I have an advisor. I also found out that they are expecting chapters 1, 2, & 3 to be done before starting my research. I'm still unclear if the review of literature is supposed to be everything I've found, everything that's relevant, or everything that supports my position. For everyone putting things off until later: DO IT NOW! I came in to work this morning to find out that our principal's husband was killed in an auto accident on Sunday. Putting Merlin Down
It's come to the day we knew would come. Tomorrow after school we're taking Merlin to the vet to cross the Rainbow Bridge. He's been a good dog, but a tortured soul for the whole time he's lived with us. In one way of looking at it, he had six more years with us than he would have had at the kennel. We need more of that kind of backbone today. Where have they all gone? Or are they too tired, and younger people too cynical and tuned out to fight any more.
